Dr. Hirofumi Ida, Research Associate, Department of Physical Therapy, University of Illinois at Chicago and Research Fellow, Department of Human System Science, Tokyo Institute of Technology presents his research in virtual-reality for health and sports science at EVL’s weekly tech meeeting, Wednesday, May 30th, 11AM. PRESENTATION ABSTRACT Computer-simulated visual display, such as computer graphics (CG) animations and virtual environments (VE), are increasingly being used for the assessment of perceptual motor skills in sports, rehabilitation and physical therapy. I will talk about the results of our previous studies and future perspectives of on-going experiments.
