The massive interactive wall at University of Illinois at Chicago’s Electronic Visualization Laboratory promises to revolutionize today’s classroom and enhance a student’s learning experience through advanced visualization and feedback… “The biggest difference between our tech and other people’s tech is that we really do see the multiple data streams as the defining characteristic of it,” Johnson said. UIC high-energy nuclear physicist David Hofman wanted to offer a specialized physics graduate course with colleague Gerd Kunde streaming in live from Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.
